The Nigerian team (reports SSN), had their plane diverted to a different airfield in Libya leaving the Nigerians stranded with no transport, food or water. No wonder they refused to play the game, apparently Libyan authorities sited "routine air traffic protocols, security checks or other logistical challenges" .
