The less said about the first 15 minutes of this game the better as City found themselves 2-0 down due to shoddy defending but after that for most of the time they put on a display of attacking football that deserved more than a share of the spoils as the unbeaten run was extended to 6 games. City put in an amazing 28 shots on goal with 10 on target and the Stoke keeper, Johansson, produced a terrific double save to keep his side in it and that was after Nahki Wells had rolled back the years with 2 goals early in the second half that had brought City level. This was a really open game that kept City in the top half of the table. Whether they can anchor that position by getting something at home to Leeds on Saturday remains to be seen and against the Yorkshire side the defence will need to be a lot tighter.
