Guest Friendly fire
Which one would you prefer, if a magic John Ateo were to appear on your doorstep, and gave you these options which would you take? a) An FA Cup final appearance, no guaranteed win but no guaranteed loss either! or b)Guaranteed to finish the season with 82 points, but no news given about how other teams do? bcfc seattle
Cup as it would probably mean a Uefa spot....
Guest Friendly fire
good answer, but if it did and you were drawn against Dinamo Tblisi, it would probably cost you a fair amount of money to get there and there's no guarantee of a win. And as we saw with Ipswich, it had a detrimental effect (affect, can never get it right) on their league form.
Taz
82 points would be nice this season......
Granty
I'd take the cup as chances are we would storm the league with far more points than

Guest Neo
Personally I would take the 82 points, however, that would probably only guarantee a play-off place (according to how many of those points came from the top 6). Cup competition is a nice distraction, however, after the euphoria for a few weeks and the crash out of Europe another few weeks later (that's presuming you win), we will be left as a division 2 side with more money in the bank, but no guarantee of further success. At least a play-off place gives you a reasonable opportunity of higher division football and the stability that comes with that.
22A
The 82 points because that's 51 more than we have at present. That could be 17 wins from our remaining 25 games or 15 wins and 6 draws from 25 or 13 wins and 12 draws from 25 The middle option is the one I'd choose to (probably) be sufficient to overtake the others in this Div. gater2
I'd take the cup, just for the experience and the possiblity of getting into Europe. If you'd asked which would we rather: win the FA cup or promotion, I'd go for promotion though.
