Bristol Boy
is that DW signed a new three year contract and the cost of getting rid of him, not to mention FB, would exceed £500k AND that doesn't include paying a new manager. That's why it won't happen unless: a.We loose the next 3/5 games. b.He resigns and in his position, would you walk away from all that dough? c.Someone comes in for him, in which case, we get compensation (who would??) d.Crowds slump to circa 6/7,000. Sad but true.
richieb
But what cost not getting into the 1st Div? Also we don't know whether any contract includes a 'promotion' clause. Personally, I believe that if SL reckons it is in the clubs best interest to rid of DW then he will do it.

Its (a) or (d) probably both. Its now a must win game on Saturday for Wilson if he's to start regaining any credibilty. Roberts must start. wookey
If Wilson goes we have a chance of going into the 1st Div. with him we have no chance. Compare and contrast the financial consequences.
