Dave L Posted December 17, 2003 Share Posted December 17, 2003 A whisper reaches me, a voice in the ether, a completely unconfirmed piece of speculative tittle tattle, that we will be bringing in a Premiership midfielder on loan, by the weekend. If this is true - and it may well not be - and if it isn't don't blame me, I hope its someone with a bit of experience, rather than another Fagan or Singh. I hope its someone who will score some goals and create some for others. Actually, I really hope its Paul Scholes I wonder who it really is? They had two midfielders on loan at B'pool earlier this season, but neither wanted to stay after the month was up, Danns and Douglas. The locals were impressed, so maybe. But we have midfielders galore, it is a right winger we need priority, goalscorer would be nice, a keeper who can dominate his 6 yard box especially crosses is a must for any league side.
