Player We Need

The player we need is not necessarily a creative midfielder, as we have this with Tinman, but a midfielder who actually scores goals! Our top goal scoring midfielder only has 2 goals and this is not good enough in 21 league games (more including cup).

This is why we are where we are: our strikers have scored about the amount of goals (maybe a bit less) we would have expected (Peacock: 10, Miller: 7, Matthews: 3, Roberts: 2), but there have been no contributions from midfield.

Compare this to last year where our top goal scorer was a midfielder, on top of the strikers contributing their normal amount, and we end up top goal scorers in the division.

The answer would be to get a Murray type midfielder who will score one in three games, but of course much easier said than done. Either a top striker who will score on a regular basis (like Jansen, who has been rumoured or that Aladaliere (or however you spell it) guy, both unlikely however), or someone like Kieran Richardson from Man you is needed on loan to up the goals tally from midfield.
