I can't see any player coming to AG before Christmas. It would mean leaving their home area and being away from family over the festive season.

As for Cureton - if Wilson was interested surely we would have seen something in print by now.Cureton has been back in the UK at least a month maybe more.

Good point. Whilst we have sent Matthews and Hawkins out on loan, both will actually be quite close to their families anyway. If anybody does come here before the New Year, then then it will probably be from somewhere that is a quick drive along the Motorway.

Apparently Matt Jansen is coming down for talks tomorrow :D

I hope so , but cant see it happening , maybe we will sign nathan tyson from reading , if i'm right i think he's on the loan list. He's a pacy right winger and would be just what we need , but then again if roberts plays like he did second half yesterday i'm not sure we would need him!!

A decent keeper?? ;) required

:D A decent keeper, phillips has saved our skin plenty of times. Hes a a quality shot stopper.

Ive heard also that we might be getting marcus stewart, (on loan) thats got to be rubbish though!

Take away your two superlatives from your first sentence and you have got it right, keeper and shot stopper is a perfect description and he is payed to save. If he was decent and a quality shot stopper and English do you really think he would still be here?

His attitude to the fans is also an absolute disgrace, they pay your wages you know!?

Jamie Cureton - Unattached - surely this would have happened by now if it was to be

Matt Jansen - Blackburn Rovers - love it, can't see it

Matthew Jones - Leicester City - oh no, please NO

Martijn Reuser - Ipswich Town - possibility

Junior Lewis - Leicester City - think he is an important squad member there

Julian Joachim - Coventry City - wouldn't be too bad, didn't he score two recently

Petter Rudi - FK Austria - don't know who he is?

More like another donkey like Fagan, some Premiership side wants away for a couple of months, to cut the wage bill...

get real, will ya, the only realistic one is Cureton, and possibly McSheffrey, if Wonder-son wants them.....

Interested to see Spurs keeper Lars Hirschfeld has turned down a loan move to Plymouth because Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock could not guarantee him first-team football.

If we could live with this premier arrogance, might be a good break for Steve?

true would be

No, no, no, no, no, no, no!

If Hirschfeld is not good enough to knock Luke McCormick out of the Argyle team, then he's not good enough for us. McCormick is a player who before the first-choice keeper Romain Larrieu's injury, had only played around 5 times for the club. He's taken his chance well, but any Premiership keeper worth their money, even a youngster, should knock him out of the side straight away.
