Wilson obviously wants this Goodfellow as he has made another higher bid for him this is what I found on Skysports.com

Bristol City manager Danny Wilson has admitted that he has made a fresh bid to sign Stoke City winger Marc Goodfellow.

The former Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday boss has had one bid turned down by The Potters for the 22-year-old but Wilson is hopeful of landing his target.

"We are awaiting a response from Stoke to an increased bid. Marc is the type of player we are looking for and he is aware of our interest," Wilson told Bristol City's official website.(It ain't on there, how weird)

The former Stoke trainee has found first-team opportunities scarce since Tony Pulis took charge of the club last season but has been a regular scorer in the club's reserve side.

The Robins are hopeful of receiving a response to their latest bid for Goodfellow soon, as the West Country club have found life difficult since the summer sale of Scott Murray to Reading.
