Phillips - 6 - Made one good block 2nd half to keep the score at 1-1. But flapped on occasions, and the wind seriously hindered his kicking first half.

Carey - 6 - Did ok, nothing spectacular but defended well.

Butler - 7/8 - Won everything in the air and calm and assured on the deck, much more like it from Tony.

Coles - 6 - Good in the air, but almost cost us a goal with a vital slip and still looks unsafe at times on the ball.

Hill - 7 - Did well in the air, and didn't have too many problems dealing with things down Brentford's right.

Roberts - 6 - Quiet game. Needs to be more direct at times, but didn't do too much wrong.

Wilkshire - 7 - Did well, much better than his below-par performance on Saturday. Always involved and able to control the attacking side of things.

Tinnion - 7 - Passing at times another class, and got stuck in. Unlucky not to score with some good strikes in the first half.

Brown - 6 - Like Roberts, needs to be more direct but not too many complaints.

Miller - 6 - Not particularly effective, often beaten in the air and first touch let him down at times, but worked hard and dug in.

Peacock - 7 - Got more involved, full of running, and his first touch was ok. Had a header well cleared off the line when it looked as though he'd scored.

Subs:

Doherty - 7 - Dug in and was effective in assuring City held on to their 2-1 lead at the end.

Lita - 8 - Full of running, rose well for his header and was in the right place at the right time for his second. No complaints, and continues to press for a start.

Woodman - NA - Did little in little time, other than almost give away a penalty, only for the Ref to perhaps bottle it, when his challenge was infact inside the area.

I'm almost certain the challenge just (debateable, eh?) outside the box was from Doherty.

The ratings there though are pretty accurate. Credit to their keeper 1st half - we should have had 3 goals before half time.
