After visiting Port Vale at the end of March, we then entertain QPR, Brighton and Plymouth, mingled with visits to Luton and Swindon, before a mayday trip away to Barnsley, then the finale against Blackpool at the Gate. It may well turn out that we would need to take at least 11 points from the five April games to earn an auto promotion spot. ...on the other hand... we may have already had it done dusted!!,,, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I reckon we would need about 88 points to get automatic promotion and somewhere between 88 and 78 to make the play-offs. When you look at that fixture list for April it is difficult . But at least our destiny would be in our own hands - even if we fall off the pace in March we could still make up ground in April by pinching points off our rivals. I reckon we will need around 65 points by the end of March to be in with a shout of automatic promotion. It is achievable but it will be difficult. We also need to improve our goal difference.
