Godzilla Posted January 2, 2004 Share Posted January 2, 2004 It's fair to say, we've established nothing more could be asked of the players other than 3 good wins over the Christmas period, launching us into a position on which we can build from, and launch our assault on the top 2. However, now we've built up such momentum, I feel it's imperative that we remain unbeaten through the next 3 games, which will be difficult tests for the team, who will be missing the excellent Luke Wilkshire, and possibly face having to do without Brian Tinnion. It's important that the players remain confident, and begin to realise they have the potential to finish in the top two. City have to try and win every game they play from now untill the end of the season. That said - City nor Plymouth,QPR or Brighton will win all their games but the bottom line will be that the team that drop the fewest points from now on will be favourites to go up automatically.
