General Summary

With the exception of Goodfellow, every player in our team can play much better.

We missed Wilkshire's passing and movement and when he returns and links with MG as an oulet, we should score more goals and pull teams apart better.TD or BT to partner him.

We didn't keep the ball enough and played far better at Blackpool & Rushden.

Phillips 7/10 Would have been 6 but for that stop from Stallard.Punching to much at times.

Carey 6/10 last ball let him down as per most of our other players.

Coles 6/10 Not at his best.

Butler 6/10 Own goal was a blinder and I would like to see the defence changed with him being dropped, particularly for home games.Doesn't dominate in either area and slows things down.

Hill 6/10 I prefer MH at Centre Back as his distribution is poor and he doesn't give you as much going forward as he could.He's similar to Carey, Coles & Hill in that he is a good solid defender and little else.Woodmans definetly at better Left Back & Footballer.Hill's a better all round defender.

Brown M 6/10 Starved of the ball but looked brave and bright.Needs a run in the team and looks to have filled out a bit.Pacy enough but could be like his brother with little end product most of the time.

Tinnion 6/10 Way below his best but his cross for the winner showed his class.He missed LW.DW moved him wide as his energy wained and moved AB into the centre of midfield where I saw him have his best ever 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw at WBA, under Lennartson.

Doherty 6/10 Would have got a 7 if he hadn't jumper in two footed in a second half mad moment.Looks fitter, but will have to keep it up and develop his attacking skills which are almost non existent at present.A far better player when he gets it down and plays the football he's capable of.

Brown A 6/10 Would have been 5 but for that terrific run that set up Goodfellow for the chance he fluffed.The argument remains the same, why doesn't he do it more often? Also I would accuse both he and his brother of not getting to the byeline enough and not producing enough crosses.

Peacock 7/10 Scored a good goal that settled us a bit but still gave away to many free kicks. He needs to introduce far more guile to his game.As a major plus, he gets lumps kicked out of him and, touch wood, doesn't retaliate.

Miller 4/10 After a distinct improvement he seems to have gone back to his early season weakness.He's not the right partner for Peacock and a bit like the JB/TD central midfield pairing, you can play one but not both and DW needs to realise that.All this "Lee wore the defenders down for Leroy" stuff only goes so far.£300k could have been spent much, much, better.Lack of quality crosses negates his threat.

Bell 6/10 Gave us more going forward and his free kick led to the goal.Moral of the story? Leave the free kicks alone Brian!!

Lita 6/10 Not on for long but his pace is a menace.

Goodfellow 8/10 Match winning impact and the difference with Marvin was the positions he took up and more runs at defenders.He also went looking for the ball and wanted to shoot.First impressions-Good and well worth the initial £50k.

agree with some, hill did cost us a goal even if it was an oggy, coles was awfull, miller was against the best defender id seen in ages, richardson was quality, sometimes you come up against someone who plays a blinder, he done a lot more running and effort than pcock anyway

We were very poor in midfield and think your marks are too high.

The two Browns were ineffective 4/10 each.

Doherty struggled to make an impact 5/10

Tinnion playing his 500th game was anonymous throughout- Would suggest that on todays performance may be lucky to make appearance number 501. 4/10

We clearly missed Wilkshire in midfield, and dare I say it, but since his move into central midfield, he has become the key figure in Citys team. (No doubt this will upset all you Tinnion boffins).

Still, a win is a win.
