bcfc seattle
Good if they are paying all his wages he can stay there for ever as far as i'm concerned.
cheshire_red
Good if they are paying all his wages he can stay there for ever as far as i'm concerned. Unfortunately the deal was that we paid half his wages!!
Bristol Boy
I hope so! He's one of the 16 players out of contract this year and he won't get another one. Shame because the guy can score goals he's just never fit and he was the same at Leeds.
wesco
Drlington are inbig finacial problems and can't see them paying any money for him. They also have not paid some of their players since novemeber so it maybe the case that we are paying all his wages
Simez
According to the main site, Matthews has been recalled by City even though Darlo want him for another month.
peanut
He's back from Darlo as they cant afford him, but danny says some other teams are interested in him. Maybe one of them would be interested in putting a bid in to take him off our hands long-term.
cheshire_red
One of them will be probably be the Gas again, otherwise usual suspects, Torquay, Cheltenham and Forest Green.
bobby
Whoever, let's just hope someone will pay his wages til the end of the season. When I first saw him play (Millwall at the Gate, scored last minute penalty) I thought he was really good, but continuous injury problems have really ruined his chances here. Probably was a good signing, but not delivered and not sure we can afford to carry him any longer. Maybe a loan spell for longer will give him much needed match practice and he will prove us all wrong!
