Taz Posted January 13, 2004 Share Posted January 13, 2004 IF Matthews gets on well at the Mem, and they were considering a bid, what would the going rate be for an injury prone striker that occasionally shows glimpses of what he could do if fit? I hope he does get on well, and that maybe Rovers would consider placing a bid for him. At the end of the day, in his City career IMO he has failed to live up to expectation. A lot of this will be down to the various injuries, but I think that it will do him the world of good by making a fresh start with someone else.
