Big Red Rich
I'm self employed (if you are to, how about checking out my thread in the non-footy forum? HERE)So, simple question: What do you do for a job and does it get in the way of watching City much? In fact does it help? A few years ago I had a free lift up and down the country as my mate got his fuel paid for by his company! And whats the best excuse you have come up with for getting out of work to watch football? In fact, my answer would be football getting in the way of City as I play most Saturdays! So, what are you answers? Robbored
I work in the NHS and after years of experience have a 9-5 Mon-Fri job.The only time it gets in the way of watching City is when there's an away evening game (like Forrest) that I'd like to get to but have to work.... Guest red herring
I work in the NHS(shift worker) as well and it can be nightmare trying to get time off for fixtures. Already I'm faced with the dilema do I throw a sicky and go to the swansea match or be a good girl and turn up for work.

One Team In Keynsham
Live overseas. Get to see City on the odd occasion that I am back in England: managed a paltry 3 games last year. And the display at Luton away didn't make me feel like rushing back anytime soon.
Guest twoseats
Have had various jobs working in marketing within London and the M25 for the last 10+ years so it's location rather than the work that gets in the way.The family are still in Bristol (Knowle) though so try and combine visits home with home games.Twoseats. The Man In Black
At the moment my work pattern changes every week so I barely got to any matches (plus Saturdays are busy, meaning more often then not I was in work on match day).Next year I should have a fairly solid work pattern so it should be much better. I still manage to get to as many as poss though as cheap flights from Edinburgh to Bristol make it easyer and ill drive to matches in the north of England. Reds
Well as you already guessed, I work for Future TV..I work Monday to Friday with weekends off, so I get to all the Home & Away games on Saturday, as far as midweek goes, on Away games I get half day.. Also we got sponsorship, billboard behind the Atyeo, Ads in Reds and even something in Gatepost.. I love my job, even get to fit Sky TV systems for the players. Also complimentry season tickets for the company, which I don't use as I got my seat in the Dolman.. So no, work don't get in the way of football..
