Never to the dark side
I think the better one was when we scored against Arsenal on the first day in the top flight Think it was on LWT fotball highlights and Brian Moore said Bristol City have scored. We were wearing that nice white kit they we always seem to win away from home in.
NATCHER
We were wearing that nice white kit they we always seem to win away from home in. Nice kit, I agree, but how many away wins did City get in the top flight ????? Not many I suggest, but I'm open to offers, ooh er !!!!
Claverham_Red
well we won 3 away in the 1976/77 season http://www.citystats.org.uk/table/T197677.asp we won 2 away in the 1977/78 season http://www.citystats.org.uk/table/T197778.asp we won 4 away in the 1978/79 season http://www.citystats.org.uk/table/T197879.asp and finally we won 3 away when we got relegated in the 1979/80 season http://www.citystats.org.uk/table/T197980.asp so that means we won 12 away games in 4 seasons while we were in the top flight

NATCHER
so that means we won 12 away games in 4 seasons while we were in the top flight Thanks for that CITYRGR8, is it too much to ask for you (or anyone else) to detail those wins. I'll start, Oct '78 Man. Utd. 1-3. Oh yes, just in case there's anyone out there I haven't bored with this, I was there !!! It don't get any better than that kids !!! Trouble is, unless anyone comes up with the other eleven triumphs, it's only 8.33% of the white shirts' magic. Over to you dark side..............
