England
We were playing a very poor team and had to wait until the last few minutes to break them down following Carey being allowed to take players on and score the best goal of the game. Not a Doherty fan but I reckon today was his best of the season with his usual combatative style mixed with discipline, better passing and a deserved goal Shame Tins didn't blossom on his 501 - oh yes and on a couple of occasions I heard the east end - a good effort to keep the noise level up. 94th Minute
Was Miller really offside because i thought he ran in from the edge of the area. was it Peacock who was offside
England
Must admit I thought Millers goal was a good one but to be fair, the refs assistant was quick with his flag - big b#gger as well so wouldn't argue with him, what with the fourth official we had little and large on the line

fct
I thought the officials today were first rate; every decision quick and clear, with hardly any contentiousness; all bookings were deserved - even the two City ones. Not often we get a good ref AND linesman but we had them today.

England
I always say what I think which does not always comply with the thought police on here - I didn't think there would be enough support for the east end today but I was wrong and those that took part did well. ThOmO
Lets hope the club thought the same and let the fans who wanna make the noise - " make the noise"
