Guest BTR_FTG Posted January 21, 2004 Share Posted January 21, 2004 Phatwill, The press release was posted some days ago & whilst it does, in the short term, appear to 'can' the scheme it isn't totally dead & buried - though can't think why SGC would want to either change their unitary policy or allocate somewhere else for the scheme to be built. More interesting was the fact that The Unmentionables had the Shoguns sign a fifteen year lease on the allotment yesterday, which I think shows even they believe the scheme is dead in the water. Problem being, as I understand it, that no formal agreement was presented to show that Redrow would guarantee payment for, & completion of, the project.
