Percy Parrot Posted January 28, 2004 Share Posted January 28, 2004 right, just want to get a few points across re: songs. 1. Leroy Lita- simple, but effective- LLleeerrroooyyy, LLeeerrooyyy. There, he has a song, everyone knows it and everyone joins in. Leroy la Lita!?! What's that all about? It sounds naff and isn't needed. Let's concentrate on a song for Woodman, Roberts etc!!! 2. Marc Goodfellow- Either "Freezer" or "For he's a"- NOT "his name is Marc". We have been blessed with this signing- there is a song already written for us that EVERYONE knows the words to. Old fans, new fans, partimers etc will all join in. WHY complicate things? I can understand "and when you see him score, you'll hear the famous roar" but lets just stick to "Freezer/For he's a Jolly Goodfellow". 3. How about a bit of order pre-match when we sing the songs of all the players. Rather than everyone starting their own. We should just stick to that, even people who know nothing about Bristol City and have never been to one of our games before could easily sing that after the first couple of words.
