downendcity Posted December 3, 2005 Share Posted December 3, 2005 Reading reports about the Gas's match last night, they were refered to as having nearly pulled off a cup shock by coming within 4 minutes of beating mighty Port Vale.It then struck me that , the way we are going just now, this time next season we could be regarded as giant killers if we beat the likes of S****horpe or Donny in the cup 2nd round if we are by then a 4th division side.How depressing a thought is that? If you were to go down it would not be considered that.Barnet and Notts County knocked you out of cups... They weren't considered Giant Killers.If you killed off a Prem team in this division you'd be considered Giant Killers.It's depressing knowing S****horpe is better than you though. Boo.
