gater2
What a result for Oldham. It's annoying that our game agaist Grimsby was called off last week, I think we would have easily won (if this is the form Grimsby are on!). Having said that hopefully they will still be shaken from this result when we play them. Is it possible that the guy who got sent off (Edwards) will miss our game through suspension? And also, on that topic, I saw Proudlock got sent off for Sheff Wed yesterday, hopefully he'll be suspended for when we go up there. Does anyone know what the chances of either of theses two scenarios happening is? One way of getting more fans into the gate would be to do as Oldham did today, let everyone in for free ! I think it was something to do with celebrating their new takeover bid. Not something they'll be trying every week if they have any sense.
Guest filtonred
Bans start two weeks after the player gets sent off, so the Grimsby lad can play against us but the Wednesday lad might be able to play dependend on how many games hes banned for

bobby
Bad news maybe - Grimsby have sacked their manager and will have a point to prove after that 6-0 result.
