bobby
Why - surely he's a quality defender? Whenever I seen him in the reserves he did great and I think he played in one of the friendlies pre season. Shame to let him go, but I guess I can understand if he wants first team football. Good luck to him, wherever he goes.
bcfc seattle
should we have a poll guessing which younger player leaves next w/o a real chance? Simpson? Fortune? Marvin? Lita?
A Horse With No Name
Yes, I always liked Darren Jones. I thought he would be the natural replacement for Danny Coles if ever his big money transfer had gone through. But I suppose with the number of central defenders we have at the club he was well down the pecking order. Still good luck to you Darren.

Good tough tackling solid defender, but he's not broken through so it probably is the right time to go. The problem for fringe players like Darren Jones is there is a new a new wave of players coming through from the Academy every year. You've only got a couple of years to make it. Bad news for players like Darren but good news for the club. Only the very best push for the first team, and no doubt there's another about to be upgraded.
