Bristol Boy
Arsenal new stadium will cost £25,000,000 a year over the next 14 Years! That's EXCLUDING Interest which, at a guess will be around another £2m a year. Thats £519,000 a week before a balls kicked. If they sell it out every week, at say, £30 a seat, that will bring in £1.8m a game so it's affordable when you take into account European Games & Cup Matches but the there's the wage bill. All in all, they'll need huge sponsorship which I'm sure they'll get providing they're succesful. It's another example of how the gulf just grows and grows! elhombrecito
How much is highbury worth as an asset though? Arsenal are putting £97m of their own money towards the stadium (some of which is from the sale of land).

Stoke_Gifford_Red
This is where they are getting the money from: £260m: Senior loan facility from a stadium facilities banking group £97m: The club itself through Granada, Nike and sale of land Whats interesting to note though is the size of the land The site is 27 acres in size while Man Utd's is a 100 and the new Wembley is 130. Unashamedly pinched off of http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nal/3512841.stm.
