Standard phrases like I think you are being unfair on Colchester they are a great team or give some credit to Hartlepool they work really hard. The simple fact is that the teams in this division are all very ordinary and so are we. If Murray was still here we would be walking this league absolutely no doubt. Saturday was again disappointing the plain fact is we spent alot of money on two very average players one of which can't even get in the team, someone has to take responsibilty for that. Something has got to change or we are going nowhere. We need loan signings NOW. One player doesn`t make a team and Murray's not exactly setting the 1st Division alight is he? Teams had largely sussed Murray out and after xmas he influence significantly decreased. What changed after christmas was not that teams sussed out Murray. It was that the wise one decided to either leave out Tinnion all together or play him on the left wing. Therefore he was unable to play the quality through balls for Murray to run onto and score. If Tinnion had played central midfield all last season, as he had up until Christmas then Murray would have scored forty goals and we would have been promoted. That is not tosh it is a reasonable assumption based on what went on in the first half of the season. The fact that Danny could not see this is just one of the countless reasons that he should not have had his very average efforts rewarded with a bumper three year contract.
