Guest waddowl
Hi there everyone. A Wednesday fan here. Just thought i'd come on and say good luck for tomorrow's game. Barring a miracle though i dont think you'll need it!! I wouldnt worry about it being called off. We havent had any snow since last night and its thawed out pretty quick today. The pitch is looking fine as you've probably seen from our website so aslong as it doesnt snow too much tonight there should be no problems. If you're looking for somewhere to have a drink before the game the best place to go is the Horse & Jockey at Wadsley Bridge. Its only about a 10 minute walk from the ground and away fans are welcome. If anyone wants directions just let me know. Good luck and maybe we'll see you in Division 1 in a few decades time!! Guest tully
thanx for that piece of good news!! also thanx for the pub choice - i'll make a point of poppin in!! Still might have a little prayer for no snow in South Yorks tonight! It's not we are over confident about winning - it's just we've been lookin foward to this trip for weeks to the best stadium in the division and the atmosphere etc. that a crowd of 25,000 brings! Here's to a good game but hope that it's the owls wings that are clipped and not the flying high robins!! - cheers
Guest Uncle Ern
I don't think the Old Bill will let the majority of us sample the pleasure of your pubs. They are making all coach operators assemble at some far flung place north of sheffield, no doubt to escort us straight to the ground.
