Guest STA-BS14
11 games won in a row, how long was it ago since the first win in the 11?
elhombrecito
Wonder if they've given it to the wrong club again... Surely Dannys record is better ! Danny's Record: 12 points from 5 games = 2.4 Points per game Newell's Record: 13 points from 6 games = 2.167 Points per game Therefore Danny's record is much better! Guest Mr Snufflelufagus
I don't know who Luton have played but perhaps they have beaten lots of teams in the top six or had tougher looking games 'on paper'
Guest redrobin108
They do not like giving it to a manager who has won it the previous month. Even if we had beaten Wednesday - Newell still won have been given the award.
Dogbert
They do just tend to give it to whichever team picks up the most points. If it was going to be on a points per game basis then it would go to Andy King as Swindon picked up 9 points from 3 games.
Guest Hodges17
Both teams have been doing well, but Wilson's doing well with a decent div 2 side and Newell's doing well with a sack of sh|te that is Luton town. Fair enough i say.
fct
Similar thinking to awarding Ipswich manager George Burley Prem manager of the year a few back.
