Admin Maesknoll Red Posted March 14, 2004 Admin Share Posted March 14, 2004 As one who has often been critical of Wilson's rose tinted comments after our failure to overcome struggling teams, I'll now thank him for some honesty in admitting that he was disappointed by the finishing on Friday night. Stoke_Gifford_Red
I agree fully. We had enough chances to win at least 4-0. At least we still won though.
fct
Yes a bit of honesty would eb appreciated by the fans rather than the political style spin he churns out usually. Not that I'm saying he has to be brutally honest all the time of course, just be more realistic rather than spouting absolute bow-locks.
Robbored
Wilson didn't have much choice but to say he was disapointed with City's finishing. He was only stating the obvious. Nothing new there....
edson
At the end of the day, when the talking's done, it has to be said the manager's come out and answered the questions asked of him. There's no such thing as easy post match comment at this stage of the season, but he's just going to keep taking them one press conference at a time, from now through 'til May, and we can ask no more than that.
