Ashcott Boy
Fortune in for the ever laughable Butler Hawkins on the right Marvin starting upfront for Peacock If Danny does this i will run naked around the pitch at Plymouth and Qpr
ballwinningcentrehalf
what are you basing Marvin on?? he has hardly been prolific for the reserves.. (used mainly as a winger hasnt he?), was hardly prolific on loan at other clubs and would hardly be prolific in our first team.. why exactly would you place him ahead of Lita or Roberts?? yeh it was a dire performance today and we probably need changes but would putting Brown in truly improve our side at all? Guest Champagne Football
Put him on the wing, hell we might even have a decent cross in a game if this happens and if not it won't be as if its any change from normal. As I said in other topics give the youngsters their chance, Danny used to do this, Coles, Fortune, Darren Jones, Hulbert, Clist, Lita and everything turned out fine, so what's different now? We certainly have some quality young players at this club. Why not replace some of those off form first teamers with players who want to do their best and want to have a chance to prove themselves? bobby
Fortune if fit certainly deserves a chance in central defence and Hawkins would be a good man to have on the bench for the right hand side if needed (or maybe even a start with Roberts up front for a change). Whatever, one would hope a few changes are made on Weds - hopefully at least Tommy will be fit and raring to go. Looks like we do need him there to galvanise the team.
