Robbored
Dunno how many of todays team were feeling the effect of the flu bug thats been around the City camp this week. Many looked very sluggish especially Noble and Jevons who both looked worn out after 20mins.It was no suprise to see Noble go off after an hour but quite a suprise to see Jevons stay on 'till the 10 mins. The bottom line is that City still had enough to see off a poor Brentford side and move 4 points clear into second spot with a game in hand.Thats 5 wins on the bounce - not bad! He was very fussy, but saying that, he only made two bookings.Roll on Tuesday night!!
Nibor
I agree - Great result, tired performance. Brentford were awful and gave up, they're going down for sure. We could have put four past them but for the bar, post and Jevons' missed sitter and that's without getting out of third gear.Let's hope everyone's in shape for Tuesday, every game is massive now. Rocky
I'll take positives away from today, yes tired but 3pts from a tired team is OK by me!
RedLionLad
Following Bradford's 2-0 defeat against local rivals Huddersfield today, I now expect Tuesday's game to be much tougher. Bradford need points quickly if they are to avoid going down and this game is more important for them than it is for us.If we get the win on Tuesday, automatic promotion really is there for us to lose.
