Br 1st ol Posted March 22, 2004 Share Posted March 22, 2004 Over the last few years we have had a succession of great strikers who have left us.....most of whom are still knocking them in...we have let them go... They talk about Welsh Rugby having a flyhalf factory, we have had a striker/goal scoring factory...but let them go... eg. The Goat Ade Akinbiyi Andy Cole Bob Taylor Wayne Allison Tony Thorpe Scott Murray Liam R (could have been good) Stevie Neville (Okay maybe stretching the point) Rob Newman (Not a big scorer but he got a few) Why did each of these guys leave? Only Andy Coles departure was a good deal for City (Except we did not have a good enough sell on clause) Now we need goals what a shame we let the above list go Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
