Bristol Boy
All I had to read was JB was staying in midfield for Tranmere, if TD's still out and that made up my mind, I'm not travelling all the way up there for the same again. He's really lost it
Guest lilciderhed
To be fair Joe had an alright game saturday, but DW team selections have been awful. But if Joe plays he must be with Wilkshire in midfield, with Goodfellow and Roberts on the wings. Obviously this wont happen, unless someone were to knock some sense into him. fct
Burnell may well be more effective in an away formation but hell he's not one to create chances is he? DW going for a 0-0? Well that may be City's best bet for result.

He's really lost it i'm not one of joes biggest fans but being fair to him he was battling well and winning balls saturday but the problem was once the ball was won there was no outlet for him and our flanks let us down, we need a ball winner and i'm sure joe can do it my original gripe with him was that he is to much the same as the doc and they can't play in the same side together it has to be one or the other. bell is not the answer down the left hand side and neather is tinnion they are to long in the tooth for pace now, and tinns is better as a play maker in the middle.. i'd go for this side at tranmere with our injuries etc.. .......phillips.... ...carey.....coles....hill.....woodman.... ....roberts.....burnell......tinnion.....goodfellow... .........lita.....miller......... subs: wilkshire butler stowell m.brown fortune
fct
CiderHead, you could have an outlet for Joe the size of the Severn Estuary and he'd look to give the ball to Phillips. He's a defender playing out of position and it shows. I don't doubt his committment and effort but you need more than that to play in midfield; you need a degree of control and skill and Burnell's first touch is of an elephant's. Well that may be City's best bet for result. If he must play and it's not in defence, where he can BOOT it, to his hearts delight, how about in front of the back four, in a five man midfield, might, I say, might just work or a man for man marking job.......on the programme seller! Although, DW won't change the formation either, unless it's during a game and involves playing people out of position, so I expect that to fall on deaf ears
Lordofthebling
let me hear anyone say... FORT - UNE!!! its gotta be Roberts - Fortune - Tinman - Goodfellow - at least for the first half, then if its still 0-0 switch to a more attacking formation of: Roberts - Wilkshire - Tinman - Goodfellow... AND with Miller and Roberts/Lita up front - not fussed which! Reckon id make a great manager me...
