Sir Colby-Tit
No doubt this will be corrected shortly, but on Donnys official site they are saying that they beat Bristol City 3-2 yesterday!LinkWhen you actually click on the story it gives the score as Donny 2 Rovers 3.I think someone had a late night last night! Port Said Red
And if you click on the report it says they lost 3-2 to Bristol Rovers. Two highly unlikely events in one report!!!

Sir Colby-Tit
We must have posted at the same time. Report also says it was played at the Keepmoat.D'Oh!To be fair, the reporter probably woke up in a bush at 6am and remembered he had a story to write. downendcity
In this part of the world we pick up Yorkshire Telly. On last week's football night they previewed the JPT final, as it featured "local" team Donny. Peter Beagrie demonstrated his knowledge of footy current affairs by commenting that Donny would have to be at the top of their game as Bristol City were on a good run of form and would be very difficult to beat. I had to smile to see him backtracking like mad when Andy Townsend pointed out that it was Rovers and not City at the Mill Stad. Also, listening to Beagrie's take on the Div 1 promotion race over the last couple of months you'd be inclined to think it was only Forest and Scunny in it. I've actually heard him comment that Forest should get promotion because they are "the big club" in the division.
