Guest WillsbridgeRed
I really can't face it Now I know we're not stuck in this hole for another season yet, but on present form lets face it we're going nowhere (Unless the players find some form from somewhere) I can't stand the thought of the same 11 players in Div 2 I can't stand the thought of the same manager in Div 2 I can't stand the thought of Div 2 with no East End I can't stand the thought of our local derby being Torquay or Yeovil I can't stand the thought of another season of £15 per match watching rubbish I can't stand the thought of the small away fan numbers The only plus is it's still Bristol City, no matter what Div, players or manager. openEnd
...but WillsbridgeRed think of the positives of playing Division 2 next season 1) being able to sing 'My Garden Shed' at least 20 times 2) being able to sing '#### ground, No Fans' at least 20 times 2) being able to sing 'You must've come in a taxi' at least 20 times 3) LDV 4) FA Cup 1st Round v (insert non-league team that plays on a ploughed field) That just about covers it, I hope I cheered you up with the mouthwatering list of plus points? I cant wait, now where's that rope?
Lordofthebling
oh yeh the LDV, we would lose that if we went up... we dont want that do we?? I think Bristol City vs Torquay could make it on sky, and my mouth is salivating at the prospect.. I want second go with that rope OpenEnd.. Thornbury Red
I can't stand the thought of another season of £15 per match watching rubbish £15???? I pay £17/£18 in the Dolman. Youre lucky!!!
bucksred
Ah the joys of Layer Road again, wonderful!! At least we dont have to go to Wycombe again this season, thats 3 points saved, or Chesterfraud, or Peterboro either. No more delights of the pasties coming on our side or the cockernies either. wonder who'll sail past us next season- Hull anyone? Sigh..... Cider-Red for life, just wish it'd get ###### better occasionally!!!
Guest WillsbridgeRed
Yeah next season Hull and Barnsly will be the top 2, with us struggling bravely as the 3rd team
RedTauntonian
with us struggling bravely as the 3rd team again! think sheff wed will be up there next season, if they sort there finances out. But hey hopefully we won't have to worry about either of those teams!
One Team
I can't stand the thought of another season in this God-awful division. ....but if thats what happens, then I'll be renewing my season ticket, once again, along with thousands of others. As much as I want promotion, supporting City isn't about what division or league you play in. One Team
Guest WillsbridgeRed
I think the thousands may well fall next season, but not by much. If it was a case of not attending just hurting the players pockets, I would probably miss many more games than I do, but as it's my football club that suffers that normally twists my arm. That said I very much doubt I'll be going to every game next season, especially early in and if there is no east end.
Lordofthebling
I'm in a happy clappy moment right now, we are 3rd and we arent a bad cup side... so if all else goes tits up - we can win the playoffs.. not really interested in Div 2, but I'm going to live by the old saying - IT AINT OVER TILL ITS OVER.. Roll on April 3rd....
Nogbad the Bad
Reckon your happy clappy moment will turn into a slow handclap if we get embroiled in the play-offs. Everything in our history says City would fail, and miserably. As for motivation for next season, whatever happens this season by the time August comes round i'll be chomping at the bit to get down the Gate again. I'm a football fan, City are my team, and after the first few weeks the close-season don't half drag.
Taz
I can't stand the thought of the same 11 players in Div 2 We won't have the same. If we go up there will be players that are quite possibly not good enough for the first division (Bell, possibly Peacock, Marvin Brown). If we are still in this division, then some will go due to contracts expiring (see above list), and possibly some of our more valued players may want to move (Tommy/Luke - International prospects may not be as good in the lower division). No matter which division we are in next season, I'm sure that we will not be seeing the same 11. I can't stand the thought of the same manager in Div 2 If we don't go up then Danny Wilson IMO will not be here next season. Four years of near misses will probably be enough for the board. If we go up and get off to a bad start, then what happened with John Ward could happen again with Danny. I can't stand the thought of Div 2 with no East End If there is no East End, then it will be because of idiotic supporters and nothing else. I can't stand the thought of our local derby being Torquay or Yeovil 12 Easy points? I can't stand the thought of another season of £15 per match watching rubbish Prices for next season will presumably depend on which division we are in. I can't stand the thought of the small away fan numbers The smaller the away following, the less noise they make. This causes us less embarassment when it's so quiet
Guest BCFC Taunton
every year were so close yet so far!!! if we did go up we'd need to make changes in the dressing room, some of the players at the moment arent good enough for division one.
