Guest Neo
Throughout my life, whether school, amateur footy, pub with mates etc.; I have always had nick-names and so have my mates. To me, it’s part of the Bristol way. On here though, many times I have been criticised for labelling people. I don’t actually consider nick-names in general to be anything other than a bit of a laugh and the “norm”, and have been amazed at how threads can develop to personal levels just for referring as Steve Phillipps as Flaps etc. Just to ease the gloom, what do you call the current players/management when with mates or on here. My list is of common names is : - Steve Phillips – Flaps OR Flapper OR England’s Number 2’s Louis Carey – Louie, Louie Mickey Bell – Bell End OR Tart Tommy Doherty – Gyppo Or Docks Tony Butler – none other than saying BUTLER in an ‘On The Buses’ type voice! Matthew Hill – Toblerone OR Chisel Foot Luke Wilkshire – Lightweight OR Wilter Joe Burnell – Catalogue Boy Or Passback Lee Peacock – Leapy Lee Miller – Windy Brian Tinnion – Tins OR Sir OR Hugh Jass Aaron Brown – Airon OR Browners Marc Goodfellow – Lightweight or Wednesday (as in when’s they legs going to break) Lee Matthews – Sicknote Christian Roberts – Robbo Danny Coles – Colesy Kevin Amankwaah – Bambi on Ice Marvin Brown – Starvin Clayton Fortune – Clayts or Voodoo Frank Barlow – Ranter OR ###### Have no names for others to my knowledge. I'm sure I have called Danny something in the past, however, can't think what
