bucksred
in Haggisland, Dundee, cos the outlaws all are, and I support BVB 09 Borussia Dortmund, cos when I lived in the Socialist Reich, I went to a number of grounds, and found the Dortmunders a friendly bunch, who were amazed that Brits would support their team, at that time like Spurs are today, talented and skint- their ground is also the nearest thing to a British style ground out there too. Amazed everytime I see it on telly now In England, the Gooners cos me dear old dad did, Christ knows what he'd make of the Fr..sorry Arsenal team these days. He died before Wenger took over!! Guest Rikku
Arsenal are my prem choice i'm afraid - but before i get any "glory supporter" accusations - it's only cos when i was younger I had a premiership sticker book and arsenal were the first team that i completed!!! So since then they've been my top flight preference!! But, to be honest, I'm totally city - our result on saturday mattered infinitely more than some stupid fa cup semi final ever could (unless we were in it of course!!) Taz
Gloryhunting. That word has always made me laugh. If any of us here were "Glory hunters" then would we be supporting City? I'm not a Man U supporter, don't pretend to be. Yes I like them, have done ever since I got into football in the mid 90's. The first game I ever sat down to watch was Man U v Everton FA Cup final (1994) Everton won 1-0. It was the likes of Giggs, Cantona, Ince, Bruce, Pallister, Kanchelskis and Schmeichel that got me into football. You can't support a club that you don't go to watch at every possible oppurtunity. It amazes me that some people say they support the likes of Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal etc yet have never even seen them play!! I support one club - Bristol City FC. If "liking" Man Utd makes me a glory hunter then so be it, I'm a glory hunter.

SimplyRed
I've followed Spurs for almost as long as I've supported City. Probably because my childhood heroes were John Atyeo and Jimmy Greaves. I remember on my bedroom wall, which was always covered in City pics, I used to keep a small spot for a pic of the Spurs team and a pic of Jimmy Greaves. But for 43 years, City have always been, and always will be, my team.

Guest city3rovers2
Inverness Caledonian Thistle for my Scottish team, simply because they have the best name. Total Network Solutions for my Welsh team, partly to annoy all the baadiff fans that live near me, and because again, I think they have a cool name, and I've been to see them play Man City at the Millennium. But there is only one team I care about, and that's City. I don't really care about the others' results, although I do look out for them. There's only one team who's results mean everything, and that's Bristol City.
Redminster
Even though my username may suggest otherwise I have zero interest in the scummy Brummie clubs. 1. As I was born in Yeovil, Yeovil Town. Unlike City, if they lose it doesn't spoil my weekend. 2. Somerset CCC. 3. During my time in Germany, the mighty SV Waldhof Mannheim and the ice hockey team Adler Mannheim (Mannheim Eagles). I am a life long GLASGOW RANGERS MAN. Although this season I have found myself looking out for Citys score more than I have Rangers. I see a helluva lot of Celtic fans on here, so I would just like to take this opportunity to show my support of them in the UEFA Cup, I dont see Villareal as being in the same class as Barcelona, but you never know. I am changing my outlook on there UEFA cup run, the more I want them to get beat the more they win, so maybe by supporting them they will lose . But I just hope Rangers come back stronger next season to wrestle the League from Celtic. So I am a Rangers man through and through, but Bristol City have been taken to my heart aswell, lets hope I can say I support a 1st Division team next year!! Guest Bobo Dave
When I was a nipper, and just getting intertested in football, I was living just outside London (but was born in Bristol). In order to decide what team to support I threw darts at a dartboard with each number labelled with a football team. I got Arsenal. So have followed Arsenal ever since. Moved back to Bristol some 10 years ago, married into a family of City fans and supported both teams since. Plus also follow San Francisco Giants from a short spell living in SF. Watching baseball is a totally different experience - or it was over 10 years ago when I used to go to Giants games - fans from both sides sat togeather so you could debate the game / play etc as it happened. All very friendly with no aggro.

LSN
Was a one kid team when I was a youngen and that was Liverpool. Until me the took me to the gate where City drew Liverpool 1-1, then gradually started going to more and more City games, went to each game when in the first division the last time we were there, and have supported them, without Liverpool in my head ever since!!! It helps to support your local team because of locality, pride of area and also shutting up those swindon fans from Frome too!!!
